What People Are Saying About UsLast Christmas, a 13 year old dream began to take shape when Tony Pourhassan, of Highlight Homes, came by my house to look at my 70’s galley kitchen, His first words word, “man, this is ugly” and I often tease him about this. Not the best way to treat a potential customer. However, after presenting his vision for a new kitchen, I realized just how right he was! We have had several contractors and kitchen designers draw plans before; however, no one had the vision that Tony presented to us. Tony’s training as an Architect and a Structural Engineer, brought to us the possibility for an expanded space incorporating the existing structure. It was critical for my husband and me to have someone with vision and patience. We had never undertaken a renovation of this magnitude and to say we were clueless would be an understatement. Tony took charge, beginning with using his numerous connections to help us secure us high quality cabinets and appliances from a model kitchen in a showroom that was downsizing for one-half the cost. His attention to detail and his expertise has been invaluable. Tony has helped us select granite, paint colors, flooring and his workers have been extremely punctual, polite and very orderly. A 3-4 month project is only taking 6-7 weeks with Tony and his construction supervisor, always on site and managing the parade of workers with an expertise that has surpassed our expectations. Tony has surprisingly been as conscientious as we have been about controlling costs and meeting our budget needs. He has done extra work to make the new blend with the old, without charge, to make sure that we are satisfied with the look and the craftsmanship. We have been, quite frankly, overwhelmed with the number of hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, that he and his workers have logged to make sure that every last detail is not overlooked.
Thanks to Tony, our home has undergone a radical transformation.
