Established in 2005 by builder, developer and architect, Anthony F. Pourhassan, Highlight Homes was witnessing great success when the bottom fell out of the housing market in 2007 and 2008. While many other talented builders shuttered their doors and moved on to new horizons, Highlight Homes evolved by opening its Renovation Division in 2009. For the last five years, we’ve focused our efforts on designing and creating luxury kitchen and bath remodels, transforming whole home renovations, imaginative outdoor living space conceptions, and more. Since then, our award-winning work has graced the pages of Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, Remodel Atlanta Magazine and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Still, we have longed to return to our true roots of crafting a home from the ground up. Beginning late last year, we got our wish.
In March 2014, we completed and closed on our first home in six long years… and it felt GREAT! Located in the heart of Brookhaven, this 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom 4000 square foot property has truly been a labor of love. We are thrilled that it will be enjoyed by a lovely family who will make many happy memories throughout the rooms and hallways of this beautiful home for years to come. We realize now that our evolution from home builder to renovation company to semi-custom home builder has been instrumental in making us even BETTER at what we do. Renovations allowed us more time to work one-on-one with our clients in an effort to create something that was uniquely their own. It also provided us with many opportunities to focus on the finest details and meet incredible new vendors – which we are very happy to bring into our homebuilding renaissance.
